At the request of the Trenton R-9 School District, a search for narcotics was held at Trenton High School and Trenton Middle School on Tuesday.
According to information provided by Assistant Trenton Police Chief Larry Smith, officers with the Trenton Police Department and Deputy Nicholas Leadbetter and K9 Zaki of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, conducted the search for illegal narcotics. Nothing of evidentiary value was located during the search.
Anyone having drug information or complaints about suspicious activities in their neighborhood are encouraged to contact the police department at 359-5557.
