Trenton High School has selected its Students of the Quarter for the first quarter. They include:
Freshman Eliana Cowling – the daughter of John and Linda Cowling, she participates in FBLA, FCA, FCCLA, Key Club, student council and softball. She is freshman class president, secretary of the Key Club and serves on the THS Student Senate. Outside of school she participates in Serve Trenton, Trick or Treat for UNICEF and attends the Hodge Presbyterian Church.
Sophomore Mallory Sole – the daughter of Rich and Christy Sole, she participates in tennis and basketball. She is a member of the Spanish Club. Outside of school, she participates in the Green Hills Soccer Club and attends Dockery Chapel Methodist Church.
Junior Cole Soptic – the son of Jeremy and Cindy Soptic, he participates in tennis and serves on the THS Student Senate. He is president of both the junior class and student council. He is a member of the Missouri Association of Student Councils and is an alumni scholarship winner. Outside of school, he volunteers with the Gifted Group, Trenton Heroes and Bright Futures. He is a chamber ambassador and volunteers for a number of chamber activities. He is a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
Senior McKayla Blackburn – the daughter of Cara Farmer and Trent Blackburn, she participates in softball, basketball and track. She is a member of the FCA, FCCLA, National Honor Society and Art Club and is also the senior class treasurer.
