Minimal Damage In Thursday Mishap

There was minimal damage to two vehicles in an accident investigated on the afternoon of Thursday, Oct. 24.
According to Trenton Police Officer Jake Baucom’s accident report, the mishap occurred when a car driven by Jillian Nichols of Trenton was attempting to back from a driveway at 901 E. 12th St., and struck a parked van owned by Ernest D. Wyatt of Mercer, which was parked on the side of the road. Damage was limited to the taillight assembly of Ms. Nichols’ car and a scrape/paint transfer across the fender and driver’s side door of the van. No tickets were issued in the mishap.
