Patricia Jeanne Key, a 90-year-old Trenton resident, died at 1:25 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery of Trenton.
A family visitation is scheduled from 6 until 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, 2019 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Key was born on May 17, 1929 in Centerville, IA, the daughter of Noel and Vevi Lindblom Hatfield. She graduated from Trenton High School and Trenton Junior College and attended Kansas State College.
She was married on June 18, 1966 at the First Christian Church in Trenton to Ronalddean Marvin Key. She worked at the Dale and Bach Jewelry Store before raising her children. She later worked as a cashier for the Branding Iron Restaurant and a cake decorator for Dairy Queen. She was an avid reader and was active with the Church Women United for many years. She was a member of Dockery Chapel Church and Eastern Star.
Survivors include her daughter, Tricia Key and her son, David Key, both of Trenton.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial donations are suggested to either the Maple Grove Cemetery or Dockery Chapel and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
