Tonya Baumgartner, Spickard, waived her preliminary hearing and had her case bound over to the Circuit Division on charges of driving while intoxicated, a class E felony; failing to drive on the right half of the roadway, resulting in an accident, a class A misdemeanor; operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license, a class D misdemeanor; and operating a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility for a vehicle, a class D misdemeanor. Her cases were certified to the Circuit Division on charges of failing to signal, a class C misdemeanor, and driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor. She is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 10.
Michael Bell, Spickard, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to fourth degree domestic assault, a class A misdemeanor. His case was bound over to the Circuit Division and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 12.
Jarvis L.E. Collis, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to purchasing or attempting to purchase or possession of liquor by a minor, a class D misdemeanor. He is scheduled to appear in court again on Oct. 22.
Randall W. Dell, Spickard, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $60.50 and $74.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10.
James S. Ewing, Trenton, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor, and had imposition of his sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for two years and is to pay $120.50 costs; $137 recoupment of funds; and $100 to the Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.
Scott A. Ewing, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to fourth degree assault, a class C misdemeanor. He is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 12.
Nathan W. Hinkle, Trenton, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on a class E felony charge of third degree assault; a class D felony charge of stealing; and a class D felony charge of stealing a firearm. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 10.
Madison M. Lewis, Princeton, waived her preliminary hearing and had her case bound over to the Circuit Division on charges of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid, a class D felony; and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia-amphetamine or methamphetamine, a class E felony. She is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 10.
Ashley L. Malott, Bethany, waived her preliminary hearing and had her case bound over to the Circuit Division on a class D felony charge of stealing a controlled substance/meth manufacturing material. She is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 10.
Dylan R. Robertson, Odessa, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on class D felony charges of second degree burglary and stealing. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 10.
Phillip D. Galvin III, Spickard, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated with a person less than 17 years of age in the vehicle, a class A misdemeanor. He was placed on probation for two years and is to pay $120.50 costs, $78.50 recoupment of funds and $100 to LERF. He also pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10 and pleaded guilty to four counts of failing to secure a child less than 16 years of age in a seat belt and was fined $10 on each charge.
Joanna K. Gard, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to delivery of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid, a class C felony. She is scheduled to appear in court again on Oct. 22.
Scott J. Hedrick and Sarah S. Holtzclaw, both of Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to first degree trespassing, a class B misdemeanor. They are each scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 12.
Aubrey N. Hughes, Kirksville, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of operating a motor vehicle with brakes not in good working order and was fined $200 and $74.50 costs.
Russell L. Louderback, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to second degree involuntary manslaughter, a class E felony, and possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid, a class D felony. The judge took the cases under advisement and the defendant is scheduled to appear in court again on Nov. 12.
Justice K. Matthes, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to fourth degree domestic assault, a class A misdemeanor, and had imposition of her sentence suspended. She was placed on probation for one year and is to pay $120.50 costs and $100 to the LERF.
Christa L. Noland, Nixa, appeared in court on a charge of first degree property damage, a class E felony. The court sustained the state’s motion for a mental evaluation, which had been opposed by the public defender.
Julie A. Phelps, Mercer, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to driving while revoked or suspended, a class D misdemeanor. She is scheduled to appear in court again on Nov. 12. She pleaded guilty to failing to display plates on a motor vehicle or trailer, an infraction, and was fined $74.50 and $50.50 costs.
Sonna R. Reaves, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to an amended charge of fourth degree domestic assault, a class C misdemeanor. Imposition of her sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for two years. She is to pay $120.50 costs and $100 to the LERF.
Zane W. Rottman, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to unlawful possession of a weapon, a class A misdemeanor; conspiracy to commit assault, a class A misdemeanor; possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less-prior drug offense, a class A misdemeanor; stealing a firearm, a class D felony; and stealing, also a class D felony. He is scheduled to appear in court again on Nov. 12.
Kelli J. Sethman, Brookfield, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to an amended charge of receiving stolen property, a class A misdemeanor. Imposition of her sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for two years. She is to serve four days of shock time in the Grundy County Detention Center, with credit given for time served. She is also to pay $120.50 costs, $100 to the LERF and $305 restitution.
Jessica J. Weeks, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle for which financial responsibility was not maintained, a class D misdemeanor, and was fined $50.50 and $74.50 costs. She also pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10.
Bradley S. Wilson, Spickard, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to two class A misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest. He was sentenced to serve six months in the Grundy County Detention Center on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently with each other and consecutive to a case in Mercer County. Execution of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for six months.
