The Princeton City Council reviewed engineering qualification proposals during a meeting on Monday night at Princeton City Hall.
City Clerk Danette Snapp reported that the council is considering three companies to provide engineering work on a sewer improvement project the city will be doing later this year. No action was taken on the proposals, which were provided by Lamp-Rynerson, McClure and All-State. Mrs. Snapp said once the council makes a final decision, the company’s name will be announced.
Approval was given to the Mother’s Club to hold a “Trunk or Treat” event on the square on Saturday, Oct. 26. The event will be from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Representatives of the Princeton Ball Association were given approval to apply for recreation funds through the city to help with preparation of property on which the PBA plans to build three new ballfields. The money would be used for road and drainage work.
The next meeting of the Princeton City Council is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4.
