A total of $9,389.30 was raised from two events held over the summer and benefitting five area charities.
The Black Silo Foundation raised the funds through the Wheels and Wine Car Show, held in June, and the Mid-America Music Festival presented by CFM Insurance, held in July. The car show raised $2,146 that went to Camp Rainbow while the music festival’s $7,243.30 supported BTC Area Youth Benefit Corp., Camp Rainbow, Green Hills Women’s Shelter, North Central Missouri Children’s Advocacy Center and the Foundation Trust for Trenton High School. Checks have been presented to those entities benefitting from this year’s efforts.
