Eric Bailey, an assistant professor in the University of Missouri College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources’ Division of Animal Sciences, spoke to attendees of the Thompson Research Center Field Day about nitrogen fertilizer and chemical seed-head suppression in tall fescue pastures. The Field Day, held on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at the center near Spickard, featured numerous MU faculty, experts, specialists and students who shared information related to beef cattle.
