DAR Chapter Celebrates Constitution Week

The Dorcas Richardson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recognized Constitution Week with a display at the Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library as well as with a reading of “constitution minutes’’ on the local radio station. Constitution Week is Sept. 17-23, which was officially designated when President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed a resolution in 1956 to make this week an observance for the foundation of the American form of government.
