A Trenton woman received minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Monday morning, Sept. 16 in Sullivan County.
Shirley Ragan, 52 was taken to the Sullivan County Hospital in Milan for treatment. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said she was the driver of an SUV that was northbound on Highway 5, five miles north of Milan, when it struck a deer in the roadway. The vehicle received minor damage. Ms. Ragan was wearing a safety device.
The accident was investigated by Trooper K.J. Cool, who was assisted by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department.
