Judge Steven D. Hudson
Christina D. Airey, Trenton, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, involving an accident, a class A misdemeanor. She was sentenced to serve six months in the Grundy County Detention Center, with execution of the sentence suspended. She was placed on probation for six months and is to pay a $500 fine and $120 costs. She also pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $70.50 and $74.50 costs. Special conditions of her probation include surrendering her driver’s license, not driving during the probation period and making in-person apologies to the victim’s family, extended family and friends. A hearing on restitution was scheduled for Nov. 26.
Anthony D. Brown, Trenton, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on charges of manufacture of a controlled substance within 2,000 feet of a school or college, a class B felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class D felony. He is scheduled to appear in court again on Oct. 10.
Terry M. Delauder, Galt, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on charges of delivery of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid, a class C felony; unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia-amphetamine or methamphetamine, a class E felony; and driving while revoked or suspended-second or third offense, a class A misdemeanor. He is scheduled to appear in court again Sept. 12.
Colby R. Epperson, Laredo, pleaded guilty to failing to register a motor vehicle, a class B misdemeanor, and was fined $50.50 and $74.50 costs.
Benjamin Harper, Acworth, GA, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on a charge of driving while intoxicated-persistent offender, a class E felony. He is scheduled to appear in court again on Oct. 10.
Jeremy Hudson, Trenton, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on a charge of non-support, a class E felony. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 10.
Emily Turner, Jamesport, waived her preliminary hearing and had her case bound over to the Circuit Division on charges of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid, a class D felony; and tampering with a motor vehicle, a class D felony. She is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 12.
Tonya A. Baumgartner, Spickard, waived formal arraignment and had trial-setting scheduled for Oct. 8 on charges of failing to signal, a class C misdemeanor; driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor; driving while intoxicated-physical injury, a class E felony; failing to drive on the right half of the roadway, resulting in an accident, a class A misdemeanor; operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license, a class D misdemeanor; and operating a motor vehicle without financial responsibility, a class D misdemeanor.
Zachary D. Hershberger, Bethany, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle owned by another knowing the owner of the vehicle had not maintained financial responsiblity and was fined $50.50 and $74.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10.
Steven B. Grebner, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less, a class D misdemeanor. He was fined $300 and is to pay $100 to the Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and $120.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10.
Michael J. Cash, Trenton, pleaded guilty to failing to register a motor vehicle, a class B misdemeanor, and was fined $50.50 and $74.50 costs.
