Tina Roxene Totten, a 55-year-old resident of Chillicothe, died on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019 at her home.
A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019 at the Mooresville Community Center. A Simplified Funeral Solution of Green Castle is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Totten was born on Sept. 2, 1963 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Ivan and Elizabeth Mann Dolan. She grew up in the Mooresville and Chillicothe area, graduating from Southwest High School in Ludlow and William Woods University. She spent her career in education, retiring from North Central Missouri College in Trenton as the director of academic resources.
She is survived by her daughters, Alecia Totten of Mooresville and Jamie Trent and her husband, Clint of Chillicothe; riding partner and love, Bari VanDyke of Chillicothe; sisters, Crystal Sitton and her husband, Thomas of Monroe, LA and Crystine Reese and her husband, Bill Reese of Carrollton; one brother, Rodney and his wife, Kim of Breckenridge; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Lina Reed; and one niece, Amy Musgrave.
