Woodards Named As Missouri State Fair Farm Family

Carl, Leslie, Claire and Layla Woodard of Trenton were among the families honored during the 61st annual Farm Family Day on Aug. 12 at the Missouri State Fair. The University of Missouri Extension in Grundy County and the local Farm Bureau selected the Woodard family as the Grundy County State Fair Family, recognizing their involvement in the community and agriculture as well as their participation in local outreach and extension programs such as 4-H or FFA. The Woodard family operates a cattle backgrounding, feed to finish operation. They also produces corn, soybean and hay.
