The Missouri Department of Transportation has several road projects taking place the week of Aug. 26-Sept. 1. Projects include:
Daviess County – Route C closed for bridge rehabilitation at the I-35 overpass until September; reserving on Route Z from Highway 69 to Highway 169, Aug. 26-31; Route AA closed for culvert replacement from Route T to Elmwood Avenue, Aug. 30.
Grundy County – Route Y closed for culvert replacement from Route B to NE 100th Street, Aug. 27; Route N closed for culvert replacement from NE 5th Street to NE 20th Street, Aug. 28.
Harrison County – Resurfacing on I-35 from Eagelville to Bethany, Aug 26-31; resurfacing on Highway 136 from Stanberry to east of Highway 19, Aug. 26-31; resurfacing on Highway 136 from Highway 69 in Bethany to west of Route C in Albany, Aug. 26-31; I-35 closed for resurfacing at the Route N north and southbound off ramps, Aug. 28.
Linn County – Bridge maintenance westbound on the Yellow Creek Overflow Bridge on Highway 36, Aug. 26-29; Bridge maintenance on the West Yellow Creek Bridge east of Brookfield on Highway 11, Aug. 26-30 (includes a 14-foot width restriction); pothole patching on Route EE from Highway 36 to the end of state maintenance, Aug. 27-28; pothole patching on Route W from Highway 36 to the end of state maintenance.
Mercer County – pothole patching on Route BB, Aug. 26-30.
Sullivan County – Highway 6 closed for bridge replacement at the West Locust Medicine Creek Bridge, east of Humphreys, through early September; Route EE closed for bridge deck replacement project at the Medicine Creek Bridge until early September; Route PP closed at the East Medicine Creek Bridge due to structure issues; intersection and sidewalk improvements through Newtown on Highway 139, Aug. 26-30; Route D closed for bridge maintenance from Little Road to Mayfair Road, Aug. 26; Route T closed for culvert replacement from Sumter Road to Tiger Road, Aug. 26; pothole patching on Highway 129, Aug. 26-30; Route N closed for bridge maintenance from England Drive to Eagle Drive, Aug. 27.
