Kaci Persell of Trenton attended the 2019 National 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador training held on Aug. 6-10 at the Texas A&M-Kingsville campus in Kingsville, TX.
Thirty youth from 15 states learned about public speaking, leadership skills and etiquette. The youth also met with industry representatives and toured the King Ranch. A maximum of two youth from each state were selected based on a thorough application and essay process. Kyle Gann also attended the training from Missouri.
With this training, the youth are now prepared to serve as National Shooting Sports Ambassadors and will assist at the 4-H National Shooting Sports Competition in June 2020.
