Alexis Whitaker of Trenton participated in the 2019 session of Missouri Girls State, held on June 23-19 on the campus of the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.
Miss Whitaker, a senior at Trenton High School, was a citizen of Covington City and served as a committee member to the state convention. She also attended classes on international affairs.
Miss Whitaker is the daughter of Dr. David and Kari Whitaker of Trenton. She was sponsored by the Trenton Lions Club.
