A Georgia resident has been arrested in Grundy County after allegedly driving under the influence of alchol.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 58-year-old Benjamin B. Harper of Acworth, GA, is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center after being arrested and charged with a class E felony of driving while intoxicated -persisten offender. Harper is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol on Highway 65 on Aug. 12. He has two previous convictions for driving under the influence. Harper is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 27.
