Felony Drug Charges Face Trenton Man; KC Man Fails To Appear In Court

Felony drug charges are facing a Trenton man, while a Kansas City man has been arrested for failing to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Stanley D. Patterson, a 63-year-old Trenton man, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid, a class D felony, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia-amphetamine or methamphetamine, a class E felony. His bond has been set at $15,000 cash only. Patterson, who was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 11, is accused of possessing methamphetamine as well as drug paraphernalia, which included a pill bottle, a plastic baggie, a hypodermic needle, a plastic bowl and a straw. Patterson, who is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center, is scheduled to make a court appearance on Aug. 13.
Also arrested on Aug. 11 was Brendon A. Ebersold, 30, who listed a Kansas City address. He is accused of not appearing in court as required on a class D misdemeanor charge of driving while revoked or suspended. He has posted $300 cash-only bond and is also scheduled to appear in court Aug. 13.
