Trenton City Council To Meet

The Trenton City Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 12 at city hall.
A tax rate hearing will be held, followed by the meeting. Items on the agenda include an ordinance approving the tax rate for 2019; an ordinance authorizing an agreement with David Tolen to rent the PSF hangar at the airport; an ordinance authorizing a contract with Peregrine Service Inc. for billing and mailing services; an ordinance authorizing a contract with Toth and Associates for an electric rate study; an ordinance approving a supplemental agreement to the existing contract with Olsson and Associates for construction administrator and inspection and material testing services for the 17th Street Bridge replacement project; discussion of the city-owned former R-9 building at the airport; recommendation for an airport engineer; and discussion/approval of an increase in the demolition share amount on properties being taken down through the city demolition program. An executive session for personnel is also planned.
