Crowder State Park will be hosting two programs later this month.
“Creatures of the Night” will be presented at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17. During this guided night hike, park staff will present information about animals that can be seen or heard at night. Participants should meet in the Shelter 3 parking lot.
A program on bats will be presented at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24 in the campground amphitheater. Park staff will share information about bats, including those who make the park their home.
Persons attending either of the events are asked to wear clothing appropriate for the weather and bring insect repellent.
