NCM Fair Beef Show Judging Features 60 Head

There were 60 head of beef judged in Saturday’s beef show at the North Central Missouri Fair.
The grand champion female was an Angus, exhibited by Jenna Reeter of Trenton. Clayton Walker of Chillicothe had the reserve champion female, a Foundation Semental. The third-, fourth- and fifth-place female entries were also recognized and belonged to Jenna Reeter, an Angus, third; Allison Coats of Richmond, a Simmental, fourth; and Nick Rhodes of Brookfield, a Maine Anjou, fifth.
The grand champion bull belonged to Gage Swindler of Braymer. Cayden Bowe of Laredo showed the reserve champion bull.
The supreme champion market animal was a Chianina, shown by Dalton Hoover of Tina-Avalon. The reserve champion was a crossbred, exhibited by Shane Leakey of Richmond. The champion home-raised steer was shown by Megan Cox of Gallatin.
Showmanship honors went to Dalton Hoover, 15 and over; Aubrie Burton of Chillicothe, 11 to 14; and Kimber Woodworth of Chillicothe, 8 to 10.

Angus – Jenna Reeter, champion and grand champion; Charolais – Makenzee Epperson of Laredo, champion; Charolais Composite – Aubrie Burton, champion; Gelbvieh – Gage Swindler, champion; Gelbvieh Balancer – Dylan Swindler of Brayer, champion; Hereford – Carman Woodworth of Chillicothe, champion, Olivia Tiemeyer of Meadville, reserve; Maine Anjou – Nick Rhoades, champion, Kaleb Bower of Laredo, reserve; Mainetainer – Allena Allen of Trenton, champion, Kale Batson of Trenton, reserve; Red Angus – Rebecca Urich of Trenton, champion, Kyle Bower of Laredo, reserve; Shorthorn – Katie Buswell of Linneus, champion; Shorthorn Plus – Kale Batson, champion, Jaiden Rodenberg of Chillicothe, reserve; Simmental – Allison Coats of Richmond, champion, Claire Walker of Chillicothe, reserve; Foundation Simmental – Clayton Walker, champion, Allison Coats, reserve; Simmental Solution – Nick Rhodes, champion, Kimber Woodworth, Trevor Peniston of Chillicothe, reserve; Crossbred – Abby Burton of Chillicothe, champion, Kimber Woodworth, reserve.
Bull breed champions were:
Angus – Cayden Bowe, champion and reserve; Gelbvieh Balancer – Gage Swindler, champion; Maine Anjou – Kaleb Bower, champion; Red Angus – Kyle Bower, champion.
Steer breed champions were:
Chianina – Dalton Hoover, champion; Maine Anjou – Gabby Hapes of Chillicothe, champion, Dalton Hoover, reserve; Crossbred – Shane Lakey, champion, James Ballard, reserve.
