Award winners from North Central Missouri Fair entries exhibited in the Rock Barn have been announced.
There were 78 youth who displayed their skills in a number of areas with entries coming from the general public, local FFA chapters and local 4-H clubs. Included in the group were seven youth participating in the special woodworking category, with prizes sponsored by Moore’s Construction and Woodworking. Items on display included a garden planter by Tyler Dixon, an end table by Justin Dixon, a coffee table by Haley Kidd, a nail box by Matthew Slater, a boot jack by Ayra Meeker, a wall shelf by Tanleigh Sheetz and a wall plaque by Jordan Inman.
The Loretta Ray Award for most canned items entered by a youth will be presented to Bailey Williams, who will receive a $20 cash award.

In the adult division, 13 individuals entered items in areas including canned items, quilted items, arts and crafts and other homemaking categories.
Lana Snider and Trish Wendt tied for most canned goods entered in the adult division and will receive the Bessie Chamber Memorial Award. Both women will receive a $15 cash prize. Pam Johnston received second place and will get $10. The newly-created Mary Lou Crawford Award for most items in the areas of pies, cakes and cookies went to Twyla Johnson, who will receive a $25 cash award.

Displays were also shared from Eastview Manor, Sunnyview Nursing Home and Grundy County Opportunity Center. A total of 15 residents at Eastview Manor received awards for their participation while 10 individuals from the Grundy County Opportunity Center took part along with 11 individuals from Sunnyview Nursing Home. Individuals at these locations contributed 40 items, 80 items and 66 items, respectively.
