Leadership Northwest Missouri recently held its 2019 graduation ceremony in St. Joseph.
There were 29 members in the class, representing 11 northwest Missouri counties, including several from this area. Robert Jandorf and Staci Baker, past president, presented a plaque to each graduate, including Derrick Gott and Jenna Johnson of Grundy County; Lisa Geiser, Anthony Ishmael, Robert Smith and Susan Stull of Livingston County; Stephen Goss of Andrew County; Ashley Mayall of Atchison County; Cameron Corbet, Megan Deppen, Sarah Meierhoffer, Skye Pournazari and Adam Watson of Buchanan County; Rachel Davidson, Devin Frazier and Rachel Hunt of Carroll County; Chip Holman, Pam Holman and Alex Spencer of Clinton County; Jordan Eiberger, Debbie Klommhaus, Steven Meyer and Megan Miller of Gentry County; Samantha Grist and Gina Lucas of Holt County; Jackie Cochenour and Annette Deering of Nodaway County; and Adam Downing and Charlotte Green of Worth County. Jacob Oser of Carrollton received a certificate of participation.
Robert Jandorf of Savannah, board president and 2017 LNWMO class member, served as master of ceremonies. In addition to the meal, class members shared moment’s from this year’s session and a video presentation was given. Leadership Coach Dr. Tim Crowley also spoke and Wes Moore, board finance member, recognized program sponsors.
Granville “Chip” Holman, who is the mayor of Gower and a member of the 2019 class, was presented with the Citizenship Award. He was recognized for spending countless hours improving his community, starting many new events and fundraisers as well as supporting youth by attending sporting events, fundraisers and other activities at the school. He worked to have the school mascot added to the water tower and the football field. Holman served his country as a United States Marine.
