Two Galt Residents Face Tampering Charges

Two Galt residents are facing charges of tampering with a utility meter.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 49-year-old Scott L. Blozvich and 49-year-old Christi D. Sims have each posted $2,500 cash or corporate surety bond and are charged with second degree tampering with a utility meter, a class A misdemeanor. The two are accused of tampering with a water meter owned by the city of Galt between May 3 and June 6. Both defendants are scheduled to appear in court July 9.
