David Cunningham, left, and his son, Eric, right, recently competed in the Wounded Warrior Benefit Armwrestling Tournament held in St. Joseph. The event hosted armwrestlers from Missouri, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska and the money raised went to help benefit veterans and their families. David Cunningham placed first in both the right- and left-hand divisions of the 40-and-older 200-pound class. He was also first in the 40-and-under 200-pound pro class left-hand division and took second in the right-hand division of the same class. Eric, meanwhile, was first in the 40-and-under 154-pound class right-hand division and also placed second in the 40-and-under 176-pound class right-hand division.
