Wheels And Wine Car Show Draws Large Crowd

There was a lot of “spit and shine” going on with entries at Saturday’s Wheels and Wine Car Show, which drew over 65 vehicles. The event, held at the Black Silo Winery, was a fundraiser for Camp Rainbow.

The weekend rain didn’t bother participants in the third annual Wheels and Wine Car Show on Saturday, which drew over 65 participants to help raise money for Camp Rainbow.
The Best of Show winner was a 1954 Chevy pickup, entered by Lonnie Sewell. The Best Interior belonged to a 2009 Ford Shelby Mustang owned by Duane Young. Vince Venier was the Best of Paint winner with a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda and J.J. Carr won Best of Motor with a 1969 Ford Mustang. Jess Alexander of Hillsboro was recognized for driving the farthest (four hours).

In addition to the Camp Rainbow fundraiser, a raffle of a Milwaukee tool set was held, with all proceeds going to help Trenton Police Officer Jasmine Diab. A total of $781 was raised, with the tool set going to Blake Williams.
