Lisa Marie Loomis Lynch, a 57-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 4 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Saint Luke’s on the Plaza in Kansas City.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Trenton. Private burial will be in the Martin Cemetery, north of Trenton.
Open visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Slater-Neal Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mrs. Lynch was born on Aug. 17, 1961 in Hawthorne, CA, the daughter of Jackie Milo and Charlotte Veronica Debuque Loomis. She graduated from Chadwick High School in Chadwick and went to College of the Ozarks at Point Lookout.
She was married on Nov. 8, 1980 to Monty Glen Lynch. They raised two children, Rachel Christmas Lynch and Christian Caleb Lynch. Later, she went to North Central Missouri College in Trenton and received an associate’s degree.
In her middle years, Lisa relocated to the Branson area, where she married John Fullerton in 2000. From that union Lisa learned to be a productive songwriter and recorded some songs with the small band, the Stars of the West. She also worked several years as a tour guide at the Holy Land Tour Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs, AR.
She remarried Monty Lynch on Feb. 13, 2010 in Trenton.
In the fall of 2016, Lisa met the love of her life, Fred Caldwell, who brought great joy to her remaining years.
Lisa had a great passion for the Lord and served Him all her life. She thoroughly knew the Bible and did not hesitate to share its treasures with others. She loved people and led many to come to know the Lord. During her time at the “Great Passion Play” she gave away many Bibles. She also had a generous heart, an uplifting smile and was multi-talented. She sang, played and wrote music. She did some painting, was an avid reader and wrote some unpublished stories. She also loved to cook, garden, sew and crochet.
Her survivors include her fiancee, Fred Caldwell of Trenton; one daughter, Rachel Lynch of Trenton; one son, Christian Lynch and his wife, Amber of Excelsior Springs; two sisters, Monique Sisco and her husband, Ron of Springville, TN and Cindy Gortmaker and her husband, Delbert of Lampe; her nephew; many cousins; and her beloved dog, Daisy.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials are suggested to the Lisa Lynch Memorial Fund to help with expenses and may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
