Libby Fewins of Trenton, left, and Nina Aguiniga of Mercer were among 108 high school students who participated in the Missouri Electric Youth Tour to Washington D.C., held June 14-20. The two girls were sponsored by Grundy Electric Cooperative. During the tour, the students visited with representatives from their congressional districts, toured famous monuments, visited the Smithsonian Museums and Arlington National Cemetery and toured the White House. They also took a sightseeing and dance cruise on the Potomac River with tour delegates from other states. They also participated in Electric Youth Day, coordinated by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. Miss Fewins is the daughter of Jenny Hunter of Trenton and Derek Fewins of Albany. Miss Aguiniga is the daughter of Robert and Yelena Aguiniga of Mercer.
