The Trenton High School tennis teams are participating in open court sessions on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at the THS tennis courts. The organized team activities run through Aug. 2, taking off the first week of July, which is a MSHSAA-mandated dead week for high school athletics. Both Trenton tennis teams are undergoing heavy transitions as the boys graduate all but one varsity starter from a team that captured a third-straight district championship. The girls, meanwhile, lose half of their varsity starting six from last season. The Trenton girls begin play on Tuesday, Sept. 3, traveling to Carrollton for a dual with the Trojanettes. Trenton’s boys team kicks off its next season in the spring of 2020.
