Summer Reading Program Events At Library

The Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library has announced two events it will be holding next week as part of its summer reading program.
Mayor Linda Crooks will be the guest presenter at the children’s summer reading program on Wednesday, June 19. Ms. Crooks will be reading the book, “There Was An Old Martian Who Swallowed the Moon,” then working with children on making their own spaceship. That session will take place at 10 a.m.
On Thursday, June 20, “Galaxy of Giggles” will take place in the Hoover Community Theater at 4 p.m. Will Stuck will present the program, which is open to the public.
