A Spickard man has been charged in connection with a recent assault and is being hel on cash bond.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Dustin E. Noble is charged with a class A misdemeanor of fourth degree assault, accused of grabbing the neck of a subject and throwing her to the ground. The incident, which allegedly occurred on June 11, resulted in the victim having abrasions to the mouth and leg. In addition, Noble is accused of possessing two knives and used them in a threatening manner. Noble is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $2,500 cash-only bond, with court appearance scheduled for June 25.
Also arrested was Donald Brown, 29, of Milan, who is accused of violating the terms of his probation on 12 counts of class C felony passing bad checks. Brown is being held in the GCDC on $15,000 cash-only bond and his probation has been suspended. He was scheduled to be in court June 13.
A subject who failed to appear in court, David J. Chappell, posted $150 cash-only bond. The 48-year-old Chula resident had been arrested for failing to appear in court on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. He is scheduled to be in court again on June 25.
