Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Newtown Cemetery in Newtown.
A family visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton.
Mr. Pauley was born on May 11, 1930 at Milan, the son of Alfred L. and Hazel Marie Hines Pauley. He graduated from Newtown High School, had been a member of Ravanna Township Board, was a farmer for over 40 years before starting with Premium Standard Farms and was a maintenance worker for the Newtown Sewer District.
He was a member of the Newtown Baptist Church.
He was married on Jan. 25, 1951 in Princeton to Joy B. Smith, who preceded him in death on Dec. 21, 2018.
Survivors include four daughters, Jennifer Shockey and Bill Stevens of Trenton, Brenda Orndorff and her husband, Richard of Trenton, Amber Shippen and her husband, Jim of Trenton and Barbara Ratliff of Monroe, GA; one son, Randy Pauley of Chula; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two brothers, James Pauley and Frances Pauley.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Newtown Cemetery. They may be left at or mailed to the Slater-Neal Funeral Home in Trenton, which is in charge of arrangements.
