David Edmund Senf, a 74-year-old resident of Wildwood, IL, died on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, IL.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Warren Funeral Home in Gurnee. Burial will be in the Warren Cemetery.
A family visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Senf was born on Dec. 12, 1944, the son of Grover and Marjorie Frantz Senf. He served in the U.S. Navy for 30 years, retiring in1996.
He was married on Aug. 29, 1970 in San Diego, CA to Judith Miller, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by three children; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; five sisters, including Barbara (Dr. Paul) Cox of Trenton, Bonnie (Rev. Van) Poe, Melody Murray, Nancy (Scott) Adams and Susan (David) McNerney; a sister-in-law; and several nieces and nephews, including Dr. Andy Cox and his wife, Holly of Trenton.
