TFD Responds To Tractor Fire

A tractor sustained extensive damage in a fire that occurred Thursday, May 23.
According to information provided by Trenton Fire Chief Brandon Gibler, the tractor was located at East 16th and Lord streets and was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters were notified shortly after 3 p.m. There was extensive damage to the engine compartment and cab area of the tractor, whose owner was not available. The cause of the blaze has not been determined.
In addition to the Trenton Fire Department, other agencies responding to the incident were the Grundy County Rural Fire Protection District, the Grundy County Ambulance, Trenton Police Department and the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office.
