Trento Park Board member Gary Schuett, left, and Park Superintendent Jason Shuler, right, display the banner recognizing Trenton as a Tree City for 20 years. Tree City requirements include having a tree board, having an active tree plan, conducting Arbor Day activities, creating biomass (grinding brush and trees into mulch) and doing tree care. The tree pictured is a Fall Fiesta Maple, planted for Arbor Day along the walking trail near Trenton Middle School. The tree was donated by Bill Bear of Rosemary Hill Tree Farm.
