Two area women have been arrested, including one charged with trespassing and one who failed to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 49-year-old Christi D. Sims of Galt is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $1,500 cash or corporate surety bond after being charged with first degree trespassing, a class B misdemeanor. She is accused of knowingly entering unlawfully upon real property at 830 S. E. Fifth St., in Galt, owned or possessed by the Baucom family.
Also arrested was Crystal L. Edwards, a 25-year-old Trenton resident, who failed to appear in court on a class E felony charge of non-support. Her bond is $1,250 cash only.
Both women are scheduled to appear in court May 28.
