Chillicothe Woman Held On Check Charge

A Chillicothe woman is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center after being arrested for passing bad checks.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, cash bond of $850 has been set for Jessica Johnson, who is facing two class E felony charges of passing bad checks. She is accused of writing checks to Amoco-Trenton BP in March 2018 on a non-existent account. One check, written on March 23, was for $57.88, while the second one, written on March 25, was for $128.89. She is scheduled to appear in court May 28.
