Chillicothe Woman Faces Check Charge

A Chillicothe woman is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center after being arrested on a 2018 charge of passing bad checks.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Bailey Souders is charged with the class E felony of passing bad checks: no account. She is accused of writing a check for $680 to the Trenton Money Store on Jan. 14, 2018 on a non-existent account. She is being held on $1,100 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court May 14.
