TMS Band Students At Macon Music Festival

Members of the Trenton Middle School seventh and eighth grade bands patriciated in the Macon Middle School Music Festival on Saturday, coming home with several honors.
The combined band earned an exemplary (1) rating. Also earning a I were soloists Connor Campbell, clarinet; Shayla Chapman, clarinet and French horn; Cade Claycomb, alto sax; Aubree Dalrymple, flute; Jesse Ledbetter, trumpet; Lydia Leininger, marimba; Victor Markell, trombone; Serenity Marsh, clarinet; Tucker Otto, marimba; Lance Polk, timpani; Nathan Schlared, marimba; Abby Simpson, flute; Dylan Smith, marimba; Cayden Spears, tuba; Gabe Stark, clarinet; Collin Taylor, marimba; Trent Villacampa, trumpet; and Azenith Ybanez, flute. Ensembles earning a I were Gabby Barrer and KayLeigh Street, clarinet duet; Shayla Chapman and Tymberlyn White, clarinet duet; Connor Campbell, Shayla Chapman, Serenity Marsh and Tymberlyn White, clarinet quartet; McKenzie Dolan and Shayla Chapman, mixed woodwind; and Jesse Ledbetter and Trent Villacampa, trumpet duet.
Soloists earning an outstanding (II) rating were Isela Brown, flute; Nathan Schlared, snare drum; Haley Shultz, snare drum; Nathan Stark, alto sax; and Ronald Woods, snare drum. The flute duet of Isela Brown and Azenith Ybanez and the low brass duet of Victor Markell and Cayden Spears also earned a II rating.
