Lee Allen Rogers, a 62-year-old resident of Chillicothe, died on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. The body will be cremated after the service.
A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019 at the funeral home, where general visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. on Monday.
Mr. Rogers was born on Nov. 29, 1956 in Ottumwa, IA, the son of Jay and Evelyn Josephine Musick Rogers. He was a 1975 graduate of Camdenton High School in Camdenton. He then attended Indian Hills Community College and earned an associate’s degree in tool and dye.
He enjoyed coaching his daughter’s softball team, ICMA racing and building racing engines for which he earned several awards.
Survivors include one son, David Durbin and his wife, Charity of Unionville; two daughters, Jennifer Belvel and her husband, Harry of Trenton and Angela Thumma and her husband, Scott of Portland, OR: one brother, David Rogers and his wife, Lorey of Camdenton; two sisters, Jayne Musser and her husband, Jimmy of Murray, KY and Jeanne Renfro and her husband, Stephen of Sumter, SC: eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and best friend and partner, Jayne Dennis- Simpson of Chillicothe, Josh and Angel Dennis and their children of Chillicothe.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
