Tom Rowlen, a 74-year-old resident of Anderson, IN, died on Friday, March 29, 2019 at his home following a brief illness.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Rowlen was born on Aug. 29, 1944 in Bloomington, IL. He was a 1962 graduate of Trenton High School and graduated from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University).
Mr. Rowlen was a retired CPA. He enjoyed working on automobiles and telling stories (which he did so well). He was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals. Most of all ,he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
He was married on May 8, 1963 at Trenton to Barbara McCracken.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son David (Penny) Rowlen; four grandchildren, Amanda Rowlen, George Rowlen, Meghan MacWhorter and Riley MacWhorter; and one brother, Gary Rowlen.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Beth Anne (Mark)MacWhorter and his parents, W. Marion and Laura Rowlen.
