The Trenton FFA Chapter competed in the Northwest District LDE competition on Tuesday, March 26, with four teams taking part. The Conduct of Chapter Meetings team placed second and earned a gold rating, advancing to state competition on April 25-26. Members included, from left, front row, Kammi Phillips, Allison Yoder, Sara Carson, Maci Lynch; back row, Gracyn Rongey, Kaci Persell, Randy Bowden, Colton Roy and Jesse Huber. Also competing was the Parliamentary Procedure Team, which earned second place, a gold rating and advanced to state. Team members were Camdyn Leeper, Jake McNabb, Jaycie Griffin, Kidridge Griffin, Emilee Lovell, Chase Otto and Olivia Roberts. Rebecca Urich earned first place in creed speaking, receiving a gold rating and advancing to state. The Knowledge Team of Colton Roy, Kaci Persell, Riley Walker and Haven Burress, placed ninth and advanced to state. Kaci Persell was the seventh high individual judge.
