GRM Networks has announced its fourth quarter community improvement grant program recipients.
The Mercer County Genealogical Society of Princeton received a $250 grant for the Calamity Jane play capturing the life of Mercer County’s most famous citizen, Calamity Jane. A $500 grant went to the Decatur County 4-H and FFA Association at Leon, IA to help with expenses to build a concession stand at the Decatur County Fairgrounds. A $196.50 grant was awarded to the Lamoni, IA, Community Center to help purchase picture frames to showcase artists and work from community members.
To apply for a grant, persons can visit the GRM website, www.grm.net/grants. March 29 is the deadline to submit applications for 2019 first quarter grant funding.
