Neffs, Horses Win At Ft. Worth

Rick and Abby Neff of Galt attended the Ft. Worth Stock Show and Rodeo on Feb. 5, where Rick and his horse, Rosies Rollin, won the timed-event challenge Jud Little Fast Five barrel race, pictured in the top photo. From a field of 44, they had the third fastest time to qualify in the top five. In the finals, they had the fastest time to win a trophy buckle, vest and $1,000. They also qualified in the fast five in the pole bending, pictured in the bottom photo, finishing second and winning $300. Abby and her horse, Came in a Blazin, also competed and together, the Neffs won $2,300.
