Trenton and Grundy R-5 High School students recently took part in the Future Business Leaders of America district competition in Chillicothe, with several earning first-place honors.
Taking first from THS were Carson Burchett in accounting, Werthen Gass in business communications, Juan Garcia in cybersecurity and Olivia Roberts in parliamentary procedure. Grundy R-5 first-place winners were Mayce Axtell in impromptu speaking and Emma Baxter in word processing. All first-place winners qualify for the state competition to be held April 14-16 in Springfield.
