Charlene Dean
A family visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019 at the Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2 p.m.
Charlene was born on May 22, 1931 at Lathrop, the daughter of Earl Carson Watson and Rachel Jurd Watson. She graduated from Osborn High School in 1949 and attended Gard Business School in St. Joseph. During her life, she held several office work positions, including an insurance agency in Cameron, the Missouri Distributing Co. in Chillicothe, Nestle Foods in Trenton and the North Central Missouri Mental Health Center in Trenton. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Trenton and Beta Sigma Phi and had served on the Trenton City Council.
Charlene was married to Irwin F. Bacon in 1950 and in 1964 was married to Lional E. Dean, who preceded her in death in 2008.
She is survived by her children, Tom Bacon and his wife, Ronda of Jamesport and Shari Wyatt and her husband, Greg of McKinney, TX; one sister, Jeanette Parrack and her husband, Jack of Cameron; grandchildren, Philip Lowrey and his wife, Natalie of Columbia, Casey Lowrey and his wife, Jennifer of McKinney and Charlie Bacon and his wife, Savannah and Callie Bacon, all of Trenton; four great-grandchildren, Kora Lowrey, Vivian Lowrey, Katherine Lowrey and Jackson Lowrey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Orville Watson, Donald Watson and Harold Watson; and two sisters, Joyce Streit, and a twin, Darlene Dittemore.
Above all else, Charlene dearly loved her family with all her heart. She will be remembered for her fun-loving, independent and giving heart and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
The family suggests contributions in her memory to the First Christian Church of Trenton.
