The Tri-County R-7 Board of Education took action on several items during a meeting on Thursday, Jan. 10.
According to information provided by Superintendent David Probasco, the board will be seeking bids to purchase a school bus as well as bids for an eight-month certificate of deposit. Funds are being reinvested following the receipt of local tax dollars in December and January.
The board approved MSBA updates. The preliminary 2019-20 school calendar and the non-certified salary schedule were reviewed, however, no action was taken. There was also discussion regarding the budget, but no action taken.
An executive session was held with no announcement made. The next meeting of the board will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7 in the superintendent’s office at the school in Jamesport.
