Gary Frazier, a 71-year-old resident of Chillicothe, died on Monday evening, Dec. 24, 2018, at the Pioneer Skilled Nursing Center in Marceline.
The body was cremated under the direction of the Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home at Milan.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018 at the Church of Christ in Chillicothe with visitation at 1 p.m. and the service at 2 p.m.
Mr. Frazier was born on July 20, 1947, the son of Clifford and Aldine Frazier. He was married on June 26, 1966 to Judy Frazier. He served in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1968. He worked at John Graves Food Service and as a technician for Chuck’s Pest Control in Chillicothe. The couple purchased the business and owned and operated it for approximately 10 years. In his later years he remodeled homes in the Joplin area. He served as an elder at the Church of Christ in Chillicothe for a number of years. He was an avid hunter and loved hunting pheasants, quail, doves and coyotes and watching eagles.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Holly Frazier; one daughter and son-in-law, Jerry and Lindy Smith; three grandchildren, Alisha, Corey and Andrew; two step-grandchildren, Josh and Mitchell; three great-grandchildren, Anthony, Jayden and Brennan; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Barbara Bonnett and Ron and Betty Price; and two brothers, F.L. (Sonny) Frazier and Paul David Frazier.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Richard Bonnett.
