The Trenton Middle School basketball season came to a close on Thursday night as Trenton’s A teams fell on the road in Marceline. Trenton was defeated 23-17 in the girls game and 36-22 in the boys game.
For the Trenton girls, Megan Spencer led the way, scoring 15 points. Trenton’s total was rounded out by two points from Emma Roberts.
The Trenton boys, meanwhile, received nine points from Tucker Otto, five from Maverick Sole, four from Dylan Spencer and two each from Collin Taylor, Nick Smith and Brody Polk.
