Two members of the Trenton Boxing Club won the Missouri State Silver Gloves Tournament in St. Louis earlier this month, both doing so for the second year in a row.
Parker Findley won the 9- to 10-year-old, 55-pound divisions, while Ayran Pajak won the 9- to 10-year-old, 90-pound division. Both boxers will now advance to the regional tournament on Jan. 4-6 in Muscatine, IA, where they will battle state champions from Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska and Kansas. Winners of the regional tournament will advance to the national competition in Independence in February.
